Hi Friends!
I am a big fan of the 4 Women of New York! I’m looking so forward to going to see the movie Thursday night! I was thinking about all the weddings they shared with us on air and the inspiration we all took from them. And why do you think there were so many weddings throughout the years? Because no matter what is happening in the world, we all love to watch a wedding whether it is real or fictional it offers hope and fantasy and the dream of  happy ever after!
Remember Charlotte’s first wedding to Trey. She wore a classic Vera Wang. A dress that so many girls dream about for their wedding. We saw Trey personalize his outfit by bringing in his Scottish traditions. Loved their look! This wedding was symbolic of most dreams…Charlotte liked to stay in the box. Even with her second wedding. She wore a gorgeous Badgley Mischka wedding gown. So appropriate for a second wedding.

I really loved Miranda and Steve’s last minute wedding. I love how the show made each wedding truly an extension of each character. Miranda’s beautiful burgundy velvet suit with her color hair was stunning. The simplicity of the park and the sparse guest list just made it perfect. The bouquet with the fall leaves was well, just delicious.

We never got to see a wedding for Samantha but I think the writers would of surprised us by dressing her in a beautiful J. Mendel. Not too much skin showing… just enough…maybe like this…

And…of course our girl Carrie…what can I say?  The dress, hair and headpiece, HAD to be  Trend Setting!  As I always say to my brides you may start planning your big day with ”out of the box” ideas, but when it comes down to it there is always a moment when you relize ”I still want to look back on my pictures and not be embarrassed!”  Vivienne Westwood why of course. The bird headpiece well, it definitely personalized her look!  But my favorite, the vintage no name suit she wore to the court house.

It’s been fun to watch all these weddings unfold. Sometimes I look too far into TV and movie weddings searching for something that I can bring into the weddings I help plan. But the truth is, my brides and grooms bring me the inspiration and I’m lucky enough to translate it into their dreams. Enjoy xox Mindy
