Hi Friends,
We are so fortunate to be able to plan some very fun kids birthday parties. Most recently we celebrated 2 celebrity kids Bronx Wentz and Johan Samuels. I remember my mom use to create fantastic parties for me and my sisters. They were the traditional ones you see in vintage magazines of the kids with birthday hats and blowers. All the children got dressed up in their party dresses (yes for every birthday party a beautiful dress!) and the boys wore nice pants and button down shirts. But there are some traditions we can bring back. I’d like you to meet Shellyann and Bonnie a wonderful mother-daughter team from Wild about Balloons! I have known Shellyann for at least 17 years and I never get tired of her amazing artsitic balloon talents. My kids still talk about her Balloon Harley Motorcycle Guy…her amazing hats, fun creatures and… all the girls run for their simple but sweet balloon bracelets. My clients call each year and before we start discussing what they want they always say “oh call Shellyann!” It’s nice to see the kids still having fun with a sword or goofy hat…hey you should see the adults standing in line for theirs! They are in the Los Angeles Area but will travel anywhere…the price is right too! enjoy

Balloon Animals and more…Reminds me of my Childhood!
Fun and Games part 3
Hi Friends,
More pics from the game party… at the end of the night we turned dessert into a Candyland extravaganza….Drew designed those cute Ice Creme tables…we took the Paige table apart from the seating card area and split the tables to individual tables to hold the candy shop and all the delicious bite size desserts…Carving Ice designed a beautiful Ice Luge to go with our theme. We made a darling cover to go over the pre-existing chandelier and hung a cute “Candyland” sign so they knew what game they entered. We had bubbles blowing at each corner… The flowers were a big hit! I found a picture from the 50’s for inspiration for the florals.. Cindy Smith from Mark’s Garden made these oversized Ice Creme Floral Sundaes they were a huge hit…enjoy the pics…xox Mindy

Setting Tables for Fun And Games part 2
hi …i was so excited by the way these tables turned out. The table itself was the gameboard or game box from the lid. My designer Drew Davis used vinyl to cover his custom made square or rectangular tables. Some games worked better on certain sizes.
Then Cindy Smith of Marks Garden designed each centerpiece to go with the game…my favorites were High Ho Cherrio and Apples to Apples. The table names and seating cards and menus were designed by Lehr and Black. See if you know some of the game tables below. More pics to come…Mindy

Fun and Games Part One
Hi Friends! This was a really cute Bat Mitzvah Theme we coordinated a few weeks ago. The child loves games and wanted us to incorporate as many of her favorites throughout the party!…Well i went to town on this…its fun to have a little break from weddings to do some real crazy creative stuff. We started at the entrance with the game of Life..our designer made an actual enlarged spinner duplicated from the game. The guests walked through the game to the cute tables which spelled out the birthday girls name. The seating cards were game spinners and when you opened it said..”move 4 spaces ahead to Monopoly. Each table was named a game…I will blog in 2 parts so you can see all the fun decor…enjoy xox Mindy

Eye want great BROWS!
Hi Friends…my brides are often making the mistake of having their eyebrows done the week of the wedding. Sometimes they have never gone to someone and they are left with either, a new look (which isn’t good) or red bumps above and below the brow. I had one bride who broke out with a random rash and it definitely put a glitch in her make-up plans. Well if you didn’t know this already may I introduce to you Damone Roberts! The King of Brows! Really he is the greatest! I can guarantee, you will not only leave with a gorgeous brow line but you will also want him to be your best friend…yes he is so lovable so cute and an artist. I love my brow pencil. I don’t look like Groucho Marks (for you youngsters look him up on google…big bushy brows) after applying and it is easy.. as I’m always in a hurry. He has a beautiful salon in Beverly Hills and New York. He’s growing quick so go meet him before he becomes the expert on every T.V show it’s worth the trip…www.damoneroberts.com
