Hi when I got married along with all my friends the “Get away Car” was a big deal and it was always decorated. We don’t get to decorate many cars now that there are so many after parties and the bride and groom are usually the last to leave. If your ceremony is at a place of worship or at a different location than the reception you can have a great decorated car…if not just to get a great picture!
At this wedding the hotel had a few awesome golf carts. They saved the Bentley Golf Cart
for the Bride and Groom. Cassie from my office decorated the cart with soda cans…(nothing fancy on the cans) and attached a beautifully calligraphed “Just Married” sign.
Did you know that the tradition of attaching noisy cans or items that drag on the ground came from a myth that this noise would scare off any evil spirits for the new married couple.
Make a great entrance and follow it with a great exit…

That is so funny…Everyone in the office kept saying they left in a Bentley and I was thinking…where would they go? why would they need a car…hahahahaha it’s a golf cart. That’s so FUNNY!
