Goodbye To the Sea …Goodnight Moon

dsc02454.JPGdsc02447.JPGHello friends I;m back home but wanted to just show you a few more pics that I took at the end of our trip…I learned so much. Being with 10 ladies, no fighting, lots of good girl talks the ages ranging from 29 to 60 and we all had different insight and thoughts on men, life, love, spirituality, and we laughed and danced and danced and laughed… The last night the crew all dressed up in western garb and had a whole western disco set up for us after dinner. They really have to be creative as they are at sea and have to order decor on line and are not surrounded by great sources like us. They had a really great tag on the cowboy hats they gave us gals as a party favors. Also went for a walk in St. Tropez and stopped for a drink. I loved the little cherry tomato on edge of the glass of the Bloody Mary instead of the celery also all through-out Europe the restaurant and bars put a bucket of ice on the table and you add ice to your drink..very cool.. enjoy the rest of pics…oh and stay tuned I’m having a wedding event in LA in October…more info to come…love to all.

GOOD NIGHT MOON xox Mindy

Shopping, Dancing, ah no Shopping

dsc02351.JPGdsc02358.JPG

Hello friends…we arrived in Porto Cervo yesterday. Again ridiculous beauty!

Look at that lawn in front of that exquisite house, great parties we could do there! We took a walk into town and my heart started racing , not sure why and then as I got closer I saw fabulous stores surrounding me. I started scoping and taking inventory as I knew we had limited time and we would be back tomorrow for some serious damage. After the shopping review we came back to the boat to have an 11pm dinner and get ready for our big night at Billionaires Club.

The amazing staff on the boat has been so creative with their table landscapes. I thought this napkin shaped like a seashell was great and the sand art very cool. They have to work against all the elements. We eat outside for every meal and we haven’t lost anything to the wind yet…

We all got dressed up for a long night of dancing even some of the crew got to join us which made for even a greater time.

Check out my good friends shoes! Now I would last in those about 5 minutes, just long enough to take a picture. She danced in them for 4 hours! Amazing shoes! Not for one of our brides but maybe the after-party…nah havianas better…

ok off to the Billionaires Club…just so you know there were not many there :)

The champagne flowed and the dancing went til 4am…I made it the whole time and was told “You are a Trouper!” Do you think it is because I’m 20 years plus older than these gals? I took some shots of crystals hanging from the ceiling..kinda cool how it was attached right to the ceiling had a cool effect.

with the lighting and music it looked much better…So today we went back into town around 2pm and I was ready to purchase only to find out that the stores close from 1pm to 5pm for a siesta…are you kidding me?

On our way back to St. Tropez….more adventures to come…enjoy the pics. xox Mindy

A Pirates Life for Me!

dsc02316.JPG

Bonjouro! Bonafacio the southern corner of Corsica. We go to sleep at 5am and wake up at 2pm…phew rough life here…while entering the port of Bonifacio all the girls stood at the front of the boat in awe of the beauty oh and of course they were scoping out the beauty of the men too. I, on the other-hand was imagining how in the heck would the guests all arrive if there was an event here ahhhhhh the brain  is in frozen party mode ALLways.

dsc02321.JPG

The water even blue-er, the shops are built against rock so the inside of the stores look like caves. Beautiful boats and a quiet town..no dancing tonight (good, keeping up with these youngsters is challenging! :))

We walked into this fabulous candy shoppe. It was themed Pirates of the Caribbean. Big barrels of mostly gummy candies but large and interesting. The strawberries were fantastic and the sunnyside up eggs darling!dsc02330.JPG Took a pic of my friend Sasha trying to pick up on one of the pirates (she was angry he couldn’t talk because he was working). dsc02329.JPG

This would make an awesome dessert themed candy bar….enjoy the pics xox Mindy

The Best Blue!

dsc02269.JPGdsc02266.JPG

Bonjour again…Last  night was one of the girl’s birthday so the staff

on the boat gave a party…very cute, one of the guests dressed up as

Marilyn and it was a great hit we had a big laugh and the staff

placed a fan under the dress to make it authentic, brilliant idea!!

Today we were in Cote d’azur. The water is so blue the sky is “Mindy Blue”even the mountains look navy blue. We hung out on the boat, I’m trying to get a little color but my pasty white skin is still white. I have a week more to get a glow…maybe wearing 55 spf is the issue? Went on a Tour of Hotel du Cap. B-u-ti-ful! The water is so crystal clear you can see through to the tips of the rocks. Jet skis and tubing and tons of watersports.

In the late afternoon we went on a “booze cruise” around the med sea and laughed and took a deep breath of the clean air. Tonight we went to Eden Roc for dinner which is perched on the cliff overlooking the still waters…yes a fantasy..and then the waiter tripped and ended up with mash potatoes on his face and I was back to reality. Poor guy I just wanted to make sure he didn’t get fired! He didn’t :) phew…

The sun sets very late in this part of the world, think about all the wonderful things we could do for an event before it gets dark. Ahhhh wonderful dinners on the beach watching the sunset at 9:45pm, photographers must get the best pictures throughout their parties the light is astounding. Tomorrow Bonifacio located on the Southern tip of Corsica. I heard the entry to the island is breathtaking. The Dream continues…enjoy the pics xox Mindy
