I just love vintage wedding photos. Especially if your parents are still married you can put their “cake cutting” picture on your cake table. It will not only get your guests over to view your beautiful cake but it is so much fun to see what your parents looked like at their wedding. If your parents are too nervous to give you their pics just color copy and frame them in your chosen colors. Hey it will be a “Cake Walk”

We just did this last weekend. The best part was both parents were still married and celebrating their 45 wedding anniversary the same month! The bride was so clever and sweet she surprised both sets of parents with their very own wedding cake and had them come up and “cut their cake” it was very poignant and beautiful.
