Take Care of the Team!

dsc01739.JPG

Hello Friends,

Sometimes when I get all caught up with just the craziness of the “wedding day” you sometimes can take your vendors for granted. It truly takes a village to make your day a great success. This picture is of Jay Goldman and his photography team and Steve Dangcil from Vidicam and his Photography team. These guys work about 14 hours on an event and capture the memories that you have worked on and dreamed of for awhile…this is what is left of all your planning, photos and video. Treat them well, don’t forget to feed them…they need their energy to be alert to capture every moment. It is not just a job for them, it is a responsibility. A huge responsibility! No matter what you pay these vendors don’t forget that they are key players in your big day. Make sure the venue knows that they have to have vendor meals and beverages (not alcohol :) ) for the whole team that is working while you are celebrating. These guys are like my family unfortunately I sometimes think I spend more time with them then my own family so I make sure I mother all of them ..Thanks guys xoxox  Mindy

Steve and Jay and their teams are so great. I am so lucky that they are going to be there capturing my wedding day! If any of the brides on here haven’t booked their photographers or videographers, they should definitely try to get Steve and Jay!

    Thanks Mindy.
You and your team are world-class. Without your perfect scheduling, we would never have the time to get the great shots. Oh yeah, and your pretty cool too.

Here’s a link to a slideshow from that wedding:
