Hi…I’m in Orlando with my kids and we went to Epcot today. I really do try to turn off my brain when I go on a vacation (which is definitely not enough) with the family. But I’m always looking around at my surroundings imagining how I can incorporate what I’m enjoying into my events. Everywhere we walked I would say ohhhhh I could do that for this party, ohhhhh that would look perfect at Syd’s wedding. My boys said “enough with the flowers there are countries to visit! but Epcot was having a garden and flower show (perfect timing) so I was in ah with the color and creativity.
Where you go daily, where you travel, what you eat, what you read, can lead you to inspiration you never thought you’d find!
In the pictures I have attached I found beautiful flower pods floating in the lake. What a great idea if you are entertaining in your backyard and their is a swimming pool. Or a water feature that needs some life. Also I just loved the topiaries of the Disney characters for a little girls birthday or baby shower. They used some interesting plant materials for Sleepy’s beard and coloring for Snow White’s bodice. In one of the few rides they had, I looked up and saw a whimsical globe and air balloons that would look fabulous at a celebration “Up Up and Away for Mom’s Birthday”
But after I was done taking pictures, I put my blinders on and had a wonderful day with my delicious boys and hubby.
More memories…great memories. Enjoy xoxox Mindy

How can Disney NOT inspire you?! I’ve been inspired so much that I’m getting married AT Disneyland!
I agree. I have never planned a wedding at Disney (yet) but you sure don’t have to worry about the magic you would feel while you walk down the aisle. Disney reminds everyone of memories as a child and provides an instant theme…They had this poster in one of the shops today called “Disney Kisses” all their characters who have fallen in love,,,corny but so cute.
I just watched a special on the WE Channel regarding the fabulous weddings organized at Disney. They really want to make you feel like a princess. What I appreciated was that they scheduled the weddings in a way that one bride will never bump into another bride on their wedding thay. That’s very considerate of Disney. Mindy, I am so glad that you are able to balance your business life from your personal life with your family. That’s true bliss!
Hi min! I’m glad you are having a fun vacation – I wish I was there! Thanks for looking for inspiration for my wedding! I wish I could get married at Disneyland but I’m glad you may have some Disney inspiration at the wedding
. Those flower pods would look great in the fountain and that Kisses poster sounds so cool.
Hope you have fun on the rest of the trip.
Thanks for always keeping us updated with great ideas!
