Hi friends and Barbie lovers..As some of you may know Barbie is turning the BIG 5-0 this year!
There were so many dresses at the Academy Awards that were reminiscent of the famous fishtale dress that Barbie wore in the 60’s. Barbie had the best clothes and accessories and if you are looking for an excuse to have a fun party why not have a Barbie Birthday Party or Barbie Shower??? Yes as adults we can celebrate with a doll! For an invite it would be cute to say…”Be a Doll and Celebrate with Me” or A Couples Shower “For Guys and Dolls!” I was in New York last week and went in to Bloomingdales where they had a cute section of Barbie Clothing and accessories to celebrate her big year. I bought a fun t-shirt that read “Anything Ken can do Barbie can do better! Love that! Get ready to see alot of this doll around town…
A Barbie shower is such a great idea! I actually had a Barbie sweet sixteen where the centerpieces were barbie cars with flowers inside. Maybe my family was ahead of the times!
