Color this year…when i ask the brides coming in “what color they are thinking of for their bridesmaid dresses” I’m noticing that a large percentage are saying NAVY! Even though their color for their weddings may be pink or lavender or sunset tones…I love it! Navy looks softer than black. Even the groomsmen are wearing navy suits or tuxedos…so gorgeous! (Sometimes I laugh because I think of Steve Martin in Father of the Bride with his Navy ”Copied” Giorgio Armani Tuxedo) But it is very chic and looks great in the Pictures…Picture any color flower bouquet against Navy,
Red, Yellow, Fushia even Orange! Ahhhhh B-u-tiful!

I am doing fuschia and navy as my colors. The wedding is at a yacht club, so the navy was easy and the pink adds the pop.
However, it is really difficult to rent navy menswear. I live in a fairly large metropolis and could only find navy suits/tuxes to rent at one shop. Hopefully the rental places will catch on and give us Brides a break!
My wedding colors are tiffany blue, black and white. The venue will be at a golf club in Washington. I love how the verdure just stands out in the evergreen state, especially during the summertime.
