Hi, I know I have been in blogging heaven but I’m home relaxing for the first time in 2008. If you are having an event at home or at a venue with a fireplace, don’t forget about it. Fireplaces are precious, romantic, and magical. Some are just there and don’t even work but don’t ignore them. I have filled fireplaces with all different size candles, and also have filled fireplaces with various sized vases overflowing with flowers or as simple as bud vases each with one rose. But if the fireplace can be lit…Light it…if the weather is too warm don’t ignore the fireplace … decorate it with something as simple as family pictures or if there is extra money in the budget drape it with garland or flowers or hanging crystals. Most important put all fires out before you go to sleep! Mindy
