"Yes we Can" never forget today!

michelle-barack-obama-n_3.jpgWhat a day! I don’t know about you but I couldn’t hold my tears back!

I’m so full of hope that we can go forward and feel safe and at peace with our country. As President Obama spoke I was thinking about all my brides getting married in 2009 and everyone celebrating a special event during such a historical time in our lives. I feel such great energy emerging everywhere…hope is powerful! Let’s not forget those who are not as lucky as we are enjoying the freedom we do in the United States of America. While planning your gift registry think about an option for your guests to donate to a charity that is important to you and your future spouse.  On your website let your guests know that a portion of your monetary gifts will go to those less fortunate. Yes, it will still be all about your big day but I can guarantee, you will stay grounded and feel amazing just knowing that you have shared a piece of one of your happiest days with someone else…”YES YOU CAN!”

Yes we can, indeed! Great post!
I just posted today about how Barack can teach the men in America quite a bit about how to treat women… just look at him and Michelle together – swoon!

love your e-mail address…loved the way barack looked at michelle and one of his first comments before they took their first dance was “doesn’t my wife look beautiful!”

    Mrs. Weiss,
I have some questions for you. I didn’t know where to write them, so I decided to post them under the “Yes We Can” blog. I am 17 years old, graduating from high school this year, and am starting college in the fall. About a year ago, I decided I wanted to become a wedding planner and make one of the most important days in two people’s lives memorable! However, I don’t exactly know where to start. I’ve looked around to see where I can become certified. I’ve come across numerous 2-day courses, online courses, and others that seem to be quick and easy. But I don’y really want to breeze through some course that could eventually make me money. i want to know in depth what a wedding planner does, has to deal with, and how they do it. So I’ve come to you for advice.
I know you have to be doing something right since people with millions of dollars are trusting you to make their day special. How do I become a wedding planner? I can use all the advice I can get!!! Thank You!!!
